The Coler Goldwater Hospital Lpn Program
The Coler Godwater hospital has a LPN program that is run by the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, in collaboration with the NYC Department of Education Office of Adult and Continuing Education. The program offers a scholarships that are awarded based on income of community residents provided they meet the minimum requirements eligibility.
You need to:
- Take the TABE ( Adults Basic Education Exam) and scorre an 11.0 in redaing and 10.5 in math or higher.
- Pass the Center for Nursing Education and Testing (CNET) entrance exam
- Attend an information seminar
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalency

I just recently started working as a cna and I would like to go back to school to become an LPN. It would be ideal for me to start in September or sooner. How do I apply? Or can you recommend any other programs in the NYC area? because I see there aren’t too many.
