Los Angeles Job Corps LPN & LVN Program

The Los Angles Job Corp has numerous training programs to educate low income students¬† at a no cost to them of their families. One of the programs offered trains LVN’s ( referred to LPN’s in most other states ). This program is in high demand and the wait time is up to a year to attend school. If you wish to use this we recommend you sign up as early as possible.

Some of the benefits of training with the Los Angeles Job Corps LPN Program

Training with the job corp affords you the opportunity to earn money, free housing, free basic medical, and meals all provided to you while you attend school. Students are paid twice monthly. Also upon exiting you recieve help finding work and a small stipend to help you transition to your new life.

What the job corp does

The Job Corp is a no cost education and vocational training program that is run by the Department of Labor. They program is offered to young men and women between the ages of 16 and 24. The Los Angeles Job Corp is operated by the YWCA of Los Angeles.
