There was a very disturbed lady in our unit for about a year that used to do the most bizzare things. She sort of shuffled around and talked to herself incoherrently most of the time. When her family came to visit she would start screaming obscenities at the younger ones. Needless to say after a few visits they didn’t bring the grandkids anymore.

The worst was she had this need to horde stuff. She would try and hide things all over the place.. in her pillow case, her hair, her clothes. This one time I had to shower her thats when I noticed something odd. From between her legs there was a napkin sticking out of her vag! Next thing you know I am pulling out pens, more napkins, and a toothbrush.  I get the charge nusrse because this is getting ridiculous and she’s starting to fight me.

Five nurses have to be called to take care of the matter ( four pinning the fifth performing the mining operation ). The worst was what I can only guess was once a the baloney sandwich… yech.

I was working at a nursing home and we had an elderly women with diarrhea really bad. One morning I went in to dress her and found she was completely  covered in shit.  I am not sure ow she managed to do it but somehow the porr gal had crapped her bed at night and managed to move the poo around till it was up to her neck. The smell alone made me want to vomit… then I saw the carrots! I had to leave the room to compose myself.

I didn’t actually see this but it happened to my wife. We had just gotten married in the early 80’s and my wife was a brand new CNA. Her first job was at this nursing home here in Anaheim , she was so happy, ready to save the world!

The first week she’s there this little old man in a wheel chair calls her over. He calls out, “Miss come over here please” so she bends down to talk to him. Then he removes the blanket from his lap and SPLAT! He ejaculates all over her her face and mouth!

She quit immediately and went back to school so she could work in obstetrics…

I was working in CCU and was making my rounds when I kept heard this awful slpat sound. Unsure where it was coming from I started looking in all the bays. Eventually I saw one of the older Alzheimer’s patients was the source of the noise. We had restrained him because he was attacking nurses so he was laying there coughing up loogies and spitting them straight up in the air. Where did that land? Of course right on his face….

I stood there for a stunned for a few seconds, hoping I wouldn’t end up his next target. Then as I as I stood there I was wondering how in the hell I was gonna get this cleaned up?

It made me retch just hearing the noises…

Anyways off I went to get some wash clothes to clean him up but when I came back I saw two other nurses working on it. They hadn’t seen me so I just slinked off…. obviously twos company threes a crowd right? ;O)

I work in ICU, and one night we got in this 32 year old with a GI bleed. He had abused ETOH for year and had esophageal varices. So the guy was NPO, vomiting bright red blood, and complaining about how thirsty he was. The GI doc entered his room to discover him drinking his own bloody vomit.
